Reliance Communication-RCom to shut its wireless business in next 30 days, employees put on notice period

Reliance communications (RCom) is believed to be shut down its wireless business in next 30 days. According to the reports that all its 2G mobile network either will be upgraded into 3G/4G or will be transferred on other operators.
In an audio message Mr Gurdeep singh, the executive director of reliance telecom told to RCom employees that they are on notice period of 30 days. The 30th November will be the last employment date.
According to Singh, company has not power to stand for next 30 days.
Gurdeep singh said, we are in a situation where we need to call it a day on our wireless business.
The tower business will remain operational since it is bringing in business with its tenacities with Jio and other private operators. RCom is in talks to sell its stake in its tower unit to Canada's Brookfield.
Rcom is blaming reliance jio's free calling and low cost of data.
Gurdeep also said that the company is not going to renew the license of reliance DTH as its license is to expire on 21 November.
